A one-day workshop aimed at introducing you to the dynamic and exciting
process of Art Therapy. An exciting combination of learning, experiential art-
making and questions and answers in a group environment.

Time: 9.30am - 4:00pm

NO art skill is necessary in order to participate in the course

Target Audience: The course is targeted at all adults including professionals, therapists, educators,
artists, parents etc (In fact you don’t need a label to benefit from the course!) This workshop offers an
opportunity to acquire a gentle taste of the process of Art Therapy in an experiential and playful manner.
These basic Art Therapy tools learnt can be incorporated into your lives and current work situations.
Useful for both the novice and those who want a top-up from previous Art Therapy courses in a familiar,
safe, creative and nurturing space.

Course Content: Various art materials are available (including paint, pastels, crayons, clay, pencils,
charcoal, collage, etc) whereby individuals can create images without judgement within the group. Materials,
colours, shapes and textures of mediums are explored and experienced both inside the studio and outside
in the garden (weather permitting!) This is followed by a voluntary sharing of images within the group, which
leads to greater insights into the art making process. Questions and answer session during the day too.

Groups: Space is limited to 12 people per course so book early to avoid disappointment!
