Description
18 CPD points for HPCSA registered professionals
This powerful 3-day experiential immersion invites you to explore the essential relationship between self and community - through the creative lens of art therapy, group process, and a relational, African-informed perspective on interconnectedness.
Whether you're a mental health professional, facilitator, corporate leader, team member navigating challenges, or simply someone seeking deeper connection and insight, this immersive experience offers a space to reconnect, reflect, and reimagine how we live, work, and grow - together.
The workshop is expertly facilitated by Samantha Davis, a registered Art Psychotherapist (HPCSA AT0000469) with over 25 years of experience in art-based therapy and group work. She is joined by Louise Fouché, Occupational Therapist and founder of OT Grow, known for her pioneering work in group facilitation and her deep belief in the healing power of collective process. With a shared passion for the power of groups, Louise and Sam bring a rich blend of clinical expertise, creativity, and compassionate facilitation to this transformative experience.

What to Expect
Through creative exploration and meaningful connection, we will:
- Experience the self in community through dynamic group art-making processes and reflection.
- Be guided in using creativity as a tool to reflect on identity, interconnectedness, and shared humanity.
- Deepen your understanding of group dynamics, boundaries, cohesion, and collective healing.
- Explore your role, value, and impact within teams, families, organisations, and communities.
- Strengthen your ability to authentically hold space for both individual voice and collective purpose.
The Art of Connection invites us to move beyond the ego-self, and step into a more compassionate, inter-dependent way of being — where healing, creativity, and connection can be ignited through creative expression and shared experience.
